Thomas Burnley & Sons was started by William Burnley in Gomersal, West Riding of Yorkshire in 1752. To be taken seriously he used his father's name!
My association with the company was as Technical Manager and finally as Sales Director at this company which employed over 2,000 producing over 100 oooKg of machine knitting yarn every week.
In 1996, we started Paint Box Textiles to dye small weights for major dyers, designers .... The company has developed significantly and this site gives details of our present capabilities.
I am very proud to be the owner and Managing Director of this company.
